Abstract

The invention discloses a glutamate decarboxylase gene and use thereof and belongs to the technical field of genetic engineering. In the invention, a glutamate decarboxylase gene gadB2 derived from Lactobacillus brevis, and a transportprotein gene gadC and a regulatory protein gene gadR, which are connected with the gadB2, are transferred into Corynebacterium glutamicum ATCC13032 through a corynebacterium expression vector pDXW8, and the recombinant Corynebacterium glutamicum can directly convert self accumulated glutamic acid into gamma-aminobutyric acid.
本发明公开了一种谷氨酸脱羧酶基因及其应用,属于基因工程技术领域。是将来源于短乳杆菌的谷氨酸脱羧酶基因gadB2、以及与gadB2相连的转运蛋白基因gadC和调控蛋白基因gadR通过棒状杆菌表达载体pDXW8导入到谷氨酸棒杆菌ATCC13032中,重组谷氨酸棒杆菌能够将其自身积累的谷氨酸直接转化成γ-氨基丁酸。
